An upper level disturbance north of the region in combination with abundant moisture will continue to produce considerable cloudiness across the region for this afternoon. 26. First, a surface low pressure system over the western Caribbean will continue to provide abundant moisture over the northeast Caribbean. 27. However, abundant moisture behind this system will produce scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially across Puerto Rico this afternoon. 28. However, this wave is accompanied by a surge in the trade winds across the entire east Caribbean, which is spreading abundant moisture into the area. 29.
