Across the northern Rockies, an established southward dip in the jet stream will promote unseasonably cool conditions while patchy showers persist across western Washington. 6. California will turn drier, but showers will persist in the Northwest. 7. East of the low, a few rain showers will persist. 8. Heavy snow showers will persist along the western slopes of the northern and central Rockies. 9. However, clouds, patchy drizzle, and a few showers will persist along the western edge of this high across, mainly across central and western Pennsylvania. 10.
