1. With a metal spatula or the wooden peel, slip the pizza off the stone on to a serving tray. 2. A selection of small and large metal spatulas or palette knives is very useful for spreading icing on top and around the edges of cakes. 3. Apply the icing with a metal spatula. 4. Carefully remove apples with a metal spatula, and place around roast. 5. Drop chocolate batter over batter in loaf pan, and swirl gently with metal spatula or knife to marbleize. 6. Drop large spoonfuls of chocolate mixture over batter in loaf pan and swirl through batter with a metal spatula or flat knife, resulting in a marbled effect. 7. Dust work surface generously with some of sugar-cornstarch mixture, then loosen edges of marshmallow mixture in pan with a small sharp knife or metal spatula. 8. For bar cookies, add a small metal spatula. 9. If fish mixture sticks to grate, use a metal spatula to turn sates. 10. Immediately pour mixture onto parchment-lined sheet and spread to corners and edges with a metal spatula. |
