1.   Ample sunshine will return to the Piedmont areas of the Southeast as gusty winds from the west descend the east slopes of the Appalachians.

2.   As a result, sunshine will return to the Florida peninsula though it will stay rather cool.

3.   Behind the front, sunshine will return to parts of the Northeast.

4.   A few snow showers will dust the mountains from Vermont to Maine, but sunshine will return to the coast by midday.

5.   After the unusual rain of recent days, ample sunshine will return to most of California.

6.   Chilly and moist air will circulate back across parts of the northern Appalachians though sunshine will return to the southern New England coast.

7.   Clouds will linger at the coast until afternoon when some sunshine will return.

8.   Clouds will linger for a time in parts of eastern and northern New England, but sunshine will return as drier breezes from the north develop.

9.   Clouds will dominate in the northern sections, but sunshine will return to the Southeast.

10.   Elsewhere, sunshine will return in eastern Maine as an ocean storm departs, but some high, thin clouds will return Monday afternoon.
