1.   After the floods, the streets had become ankle-deep streams.

2.   And somewhere along the line, the street became an idea.

3.   Streets became rivers as rivers burst their banks in Newport Pagnell.

4.   As a result, streets became wider and straighter.

5.   At night the streets become a dense parade of fancy new motor bikes.

6.   At midday, the streets become a human pinball machine.

7.   But the Wildhorse pretty much sets the tone for what the street is becoming.

8.   But with no show to see, the streets became my theater.

9.   By Sunday afternoon, however, after an army of city workers had scraped and swept with a vengeance, the streets became passable.

10.   City streets became canals for canoes.
