1.   A. The best choice is to have it chipped down to just below the soil level.

2.   Add enough of this fresh mix to the container to bring the soil level back to the original height.

3.   After dormancy, repot in a fresh mixture so the bulb neck is above the soil level.

4.   Dig a hole deep enough so that the container is two inches below the surrounding soil level.

5.   Make sure the nodes where you removed the leaves are below soil level.

6.   Place the ball so that its top is slighlty higher than soil level.

7.   Place the plant in the hole, and make sure the root ball is above the soil level.

8.   Plant with the neck above the soil level.

9.   Plant high, with the graft union well above soil level, to prevent the roots from being too wet and to avoid foot rot disease.

10.   Plant the bulbs with a third to a half of the bulb above soil level.
