1. Cloudy skies will cover much of the nation from the Rockies to the East Coast as several jet stream disturbances intercept humid air from the Gulf of Mexico. 2. Elsewhere, high pressure building south from Quebec will bring chilly and dry weather to New England while partly sunny skies cover the Southwest. 3. Father west, partly sunny skies will cover the Northern Plains and Minnesota. 4. Farther west, mainly cloudy skies will cover the interior Northeast and Great Lakes region where a scattered mixture of rain and snow showers will occur. 5. Grey skies will cover much of the Northeast as milder air encounters cool air in place over the region. 6. Gray skies will cover a large area from the Great Lakes to the New England Coast on Sunday as a slow-moving disturbance presses east from the Midwest. 7. Mainly sunny skies will also cover the Middle Atlantic and Southeast Coasts, including Florida. 8. Mainly sunny skies will cover the northern Rockies under a broad area of high pressure. 9. Mainly sunny skies will cover the Pacific states, except for patches of morning low clouds at the coast. 10. Mainly sunny skies will cover the Northeast coast Monday as a small area of high pressure slides east of Cape Cod. |
