1.   As new roots reach down, the spiritual tree grows stronger.

2.   All of the energy source is marshalled into expanding new roots.

3.   But casual still is finding open ground for new roots in Kansas City.

4.   If it resists being pulled from the pot, it has developed new roots and is ready to be moved into regular potting soil.

5.   If left on the ground to decay, they turn into a layer of soft compost, nourishing their mother tree with a protective matrix for new feeding roots.
