1. To obtain the contours of the design, flex and nail strips of hardboard or plywood between the edging pegs flush with the final level. 2. Nail strips of wood across the joists to make overhead racks. 3. The tack strips are nailed down close to the baseboards with the tacks pointing toward the wall and away from the center of the room. 4. There is no need to staple or nail this strip, but it should go on all joists. 5. To provide moth protection, nail strips of aromatic cedar from a do-it-yourself cedar closet kit to the wall in the outline of the rug. |
