1. Beat in espresso powder dissolved in water until thoroughly blended. 2. A mixture of mascarpone and cream cheeses is beaten with powdered sugar, dissolved espresso coffee powder and vanilla until smooth, and then whipped cream is folded in. 3. Bring to a simmer, whisking to dissolve espresso powder. 4. Combine the espresso powder, salt, vinegars and cream in a stainless-steel bowl. 5. Combine butter, brown sugar, espresso powder and vanilla in a large bowl. 6. Combine flour, cocoa, espresso powder, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl and mix together thoroughly with a whisk or fork. 7. Espresso powder kicks up the chocolate flavor to an intense level. 8. If desired, vary the flavor by adding instant espresso powder or grated orange peel to the chocolate mixture. 9. In a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed, beat cream with the espresso powder and powered sugar until stiff peaks form. 10. In a bowl, combine the cream, espresso powder and sugar. |
