1.   All three entered the rotation coming from different situations.

2.   Davis entered the rotation when Darren Oliver went on the disabled list with weakness and fatigue in his left shoulder.

3.   Jason Schmidt, acquired in a trading-deadline deal last season, will enter the rotation when he returns from the disabled list sometime early in the season.

4.   There is some feeling the Cotton Bowl, and perhaps the Gator Bowl and Florida Citrus Bowl, will bid to enter the rotation.

5.   Right-hander Steve Traschel, acquired by the Blue Jays in a trade from Tampa Bay, will join the team in Toronto on Thursday and enter the rotation.
