1.   Dry conditions will stretch across the South Saturday from the Southwestern deserts to the Southeast.

2.   Farther east, mild conditions will stretch from southern New Mexico to the western Gulf Coast as the jet stream retreats to the north.

3.   In the East, unsettled conditions will stretch from the western Great Lakes to the Southeast coast.

4.   Sunny, seasonable conditions will stretch from the lower Mississippi Valley to the Southwest.

5.   Torrid conditions will stretch from the southern Plains to the deserts of the Southwest.

6.   Dry and mostly clear conditions stretched over the Mississippi Valley, western Great Lakes and Ohio Valley through the Gulf Coast states and Florida.
