1.   Around New York, owners of some popular sledding spots are banning the sport.

2.   A world champion suffers a blood clot on the brain in a nationally-televised fight in England and voices are raised demanding the sport be banned.

3.   After blocking the event planned for Brooklyn, Pataki and Goodman proposed bills to ban the sport.
