71.   Place a little royal icing in a piping bag fitted with a medium writing nozzle.

72.   Place the remaining royal icing in the piping bag and fit with a small star nozzle.

73.   If liked, wrap the ribbon around the edge of the drum and secure with glue or royal icing.

74.   Transfer the boat to the cake drum and secure on with a little royal icing.

75.   Cut out two tiny rectangular panels for the plates on each side of the boat and press on, securing with a little water or royal icing.

76.   Reserving about a third for the piping work later, place the royal icing in a piping bag with a fine writing nozzle.

77.   Place the buoys on the cake drum around the boat and stick the large flag on to the back of the boat with a little royal icing.

78.   Colour a little royal icing brown and place in a piping bag with a writing nozzle.

79.   Finally, wrap the ribbon around the edge of the cake drum, securing on with a little spare royal icing.
