Arctic weather across continental Europe has claimed dozens of lives and driven the price of refined heating fuel higher. 3. Both phenomena have the power to change weather across the globe, flooding some regions while choking others with drought. 4. A large dip in the jet stream will promote cool, unsettled weather across much of the West Friday. 5. A stream of tropical moisture will keep warm but showery weather across the Florida peninsula. 6. A small area of high pressure in Oregon will promote dry and seasonable weather across most of the West Coast states. 7. A stationary high-pressure system at the surface and aloft will continue to promote mainly sunny and very warm weather across the West. 8. Consumers bought lumber, paint and other building supplies during unseasonably warm weather across the country in November and December. 9. Elsewhere, abundant sunshine will promote warm weather across the Southwest. 10. El Nino causes unusual weather all across North America. |
