1. Areas of valley fog will slowly dissipate from northern California to Idaho. 2. Aside from coastal valley fog, the Northwest will be sunny and pleasantly cool. 3. After a crisp start with patchy valley fog, ample sunshine will embrace the Eastern third of the nation as high pressure settles off the Atlantic Coast. 4. After a very cool dawn with patchy valley fog, the Northeast will have ample sunshine which will boost temperatures to comfortable levels by afternoon. 5. Except for valley fog, the coastal Northwest will stay unusually mild and dry. 6. Except for valley fog, much of the West Coast will be dry and mild. 7. High pressure in Idaho will sponsor dry, but seasonably cold conditions across the interior West with valley fog in northern sections. 8. High pressure in Wyoming will lead to pleasant conditions in the northern Rockies, though valley fog will persist in some sections of Idaho and western Montana. 9. It will be seasonably mild in the northern Rockies with winds too light to dissipate some valley fog. 10. Morning valley fog in parts of Washington and Oregon will yield to afternoon sun. |
