1.   The surgeons told them that they could always use synthetic hormones.

2.   American farmers routinely use five hormones, including progesterone and testosterone, to make cattle grow faster and produce more milk.

3.   And a weekly transdermal patch is being developed using combined hormones.

4.   And among women in the study who continued using hormones for more than five years, no further increase in cancer incidence was found.

5.   And, if the hormone is used, they want the milk labeled.

6.   Athletes can use the hormone to increase their aerobic ability, with cyclists, runners, swimmers and cross-country skiers benefitting the most from taking EPO.

7.   But no one advocates using the hormone to prevent back problems.

8.   But panel members and other doctors said the recommendation does not imply that women should stop using the hormones or avoid them.

9.   Dairy farmers use the hormone so cows produce more milk.

10.   For now, these researchers think this applies only to women who use or have used hormones such as birth control pills.
