During any trading day, the futures price can lie within a band centred on the settlement price at the close of business on the previous trading day. 6. The market can close for the remainder of the trading day or for a much shorter period such as half an hour, depending on the exchange. 7. The delivery day is the first business day after the last trading day which is the third Wednesday of the delivery month. 8. In both cases, the clearing house announces the final settlement or the exchange delivery settlement price on the last trading day. 9. On the last trading day, the short will arrange time deposit facilities at an eligible bank. |
