1.   The American Football Coaches Association will formerly survey its membership to determine the support for using a tiebreaker system during regular-season football games.

2.   The NCAA Football Rules Committee last week recommended a tiebreaker system be used in bowl games.

3.   The poll would apply because none of the three teams would have an advantage in other comparisons in the tiebreaker system.
