1.   Some of that mail was opened and handled by five or six persons, said Gary Stone, manager of the stamp center.

2.   Some test results on other environmental samples taken from inside the stamp center and around the outside perimeter still are pending and may not be final until Saturday.

3.   Stone said he ordered the trays sealed in shrink-wrap and isolated inside the stamp center.

4.   Spores were also found at a stamp distribution center in Kansas City, Mo.

5.   The stamp center will remain closed, and no mail will be distributed from there until it has been deemed safe, they said.
