An area of heavy showers and thunderstorms will blossom near the Southeast coast, which will bring locally heavy rain to southern Florida. 3. An exception will be near the southeast coast, where low pressure draws moist air inland. 4. Ample sunshine will promote unusual warmth along the Southeast coast. 5. An onshore flow will bring tropical moisture toward the Southeast coast encouraging clusters of clouds and thundershowers from the Carolina coast to Florida. 6. Another hot afternoon is expected from interior southern New England to the Southeast coast. 7. As these two branches attempt to merge Saturday, low pressure will strengthen near the Southeast coast. 8. As winds descend the mountains, clouds will break from southeast Virginia through the southeast coast. 9. A broad flow of moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic will produce widespread clouds and lighter showers near the Southeast coast and in the southern Appalachians. 10. A cluster of showers and thunderstorms will cover the Florida peninsula and the Southeast coast as breezes from the east and southeast direct copious Atlantic moisture into the region. |
