1. Cook over low heat for a minute or two, until the soup thickens slightly. 2. Continue cooking until the soup has thickened. 3. Season with salt, pepper, and mace and continue to cook until soup thickens. 4. Soup should thicken slightly. 5. Stir into cheese mixture in double boiler and heat over simmering water until soup thickens. 6. Soup will thicken as it cooks. 7. This is not little ribs, but an Italian vegetable soup thickened with bread. |
