1.   Among the many problems being investigated is a sloping terrain that resulted in the first of four ascending levels of the Bonfire stack being built at an angle.

2.   As breezes from the east carry moisture up the sloping terrain of the Front Range, isolated afternoon thunderstorms will develop from eastern Colorado to eastern Montana.

3.   Areas of generally light snow will fall on the Front Range of the northern Rockies as winds from the east ascend the sloping terrain.

4.   As moist winds from the east ascend the sloping terrain, areas of freezing rain will develop in central and west Texas, with snow in the northern panhandle.

5.   As moist winds from the east ascend the sloping terrain, moderate snow will occur in central and eastern Wyoming.

6.   As moist Pacific air is forced to rise by the sloping terrain, heavy rain and heavy mountain snow will result.

7.   As the air further cools on climbing the sloping terrain, heavy snow will fall in the Black Hills.

8.   As the moist air ascends the sloping terrain, clouds and rain will expand over New Mexico, southern Colorado, and the mountains of northern Arizona.

9.   As tropical air reaches the hill country, it ascends the sloping terrain, boosting the lift needed for intensifying rains.

10.   As the damp air ascends the sloping terrain, heavy snow is likely in the Big Horn mountains.
