A milder air flow from the south will be accompanied by thickening clouds and showers along the Northwest Coast. 3. A rich supply of Pacific moisture will continue to fuel numerous showers along the West Coast. 4. A tropical disturbance from the northwest Caribbean will trigger a few gusty showers along the west coast. 5. Damp winds will ascend the Rocky Mountains, yielding snow showers along the eastern slopes. 6. Elsewhere, a cold front moving into the Pacific Northwest will produce snow in the Cascades and interior Washington with showers along the coast. 7. Farther west, an approaching cold front will promote scattered showers along west-facing slopes in the southern and central Rockies. 8. In the West, moist winds from the northeast will promote some clouds and a few showers along the front range of the Colorado Rockies. 9. Moist air from the Pacific Ocean will prompt snow showers along west-facing mountain slopes in the Northwest, with several inches of new snow likely. 10. Moist air surrounding a jet stream disturbance will cause showers along the Carolina shore, especially early Wednesday. |
