1.   Convoys of Serb troops, some of them flashing three-finger Serb salutes, rolled north out of Kosovo Tuesday.

2.   One old man gave the three-fingered Serb salute, normally a gesture of defiance, but a golden cross was draped through his fingers.

3.   Soldiers menacingly held up three fingers, the traditional Serb salute.

4.   Serbs waving their red, white and blue flag and flashing a three-finger Serb salute bombarded the buses with sticks and rocks.

5.   Soldiers, local police and ordinary citizens also lined the route, some raising their hands in the traditional three-fingered Serb salute.

6.   Someone threw an egg that hit one of the vehicles, and many protesters waved three fingers in the air in the traditional Serb salute.

7.   The demonstrators gave the three-finger Serb salute repeatedly.

8.   Troops riding atop the vehicles flashed the three-fingered Serb salute at Western television crews as they sped by.

9.   Young people waved the three-fingered Serb salute as politicians loyal to Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic looked on approvingly.
