1.   As usual, only Zack and Jane seemed in high spirits as everyone else groaned and complained.

2.   It seemed in the end there was little else to do but actually to raise the matter again with Mr Farraday.

3.   And others seem in a bit over their heads.

4.   Not to mention how misguided it seems in light of the free-agent defections of Stepnoski, Ken Norton, Kevin Gogan, James Washington, et al.

5.   The comprehensive peace agreement that seemed in sight only a month ago no longer appears a realistic possibility, at least in the short term.
