1.   There are towers at intervals for reinforcement and there are eight fortified city gates which were originally richly decorated with sculptural work.

2.   The rooms were richly decorated with wall paintings, mosaics and sculptural work.

3.   The sculptural work is vastly inferior and is so high in relief as to be almost in the round.
