1. A coal miner has been rescued after three weeks trapped in a flooded mine in central China with just dirty water to drink, a newspaper reported Friday. 2. Eight injured miners were rescued immediately and five bodies were recovered. 3. Eleven other miners were rescued, two of them injured, the Chinese-language Ming Pao Daily reported. 4. Four miners were rescued and five were confirmed dead Friday following a cave-in earlier in the week at a coal mine in Ruda Slaska, in southern Poland. 5. Thirteen miners were rescued after the explosion Sunday at the mine in Xuzhou, a city in the eastern province of Jiangsu. 6. Twenty-five miners had been rescued from the Chengzihe mine in Heilongjiang province and eight of them were receiving emergency treatment in hospital, Xinhua said. 7.
