1.   All three companies this week reported declines in October sales from a year ago.

2.   Amoco and Ashland reported declines.

3.   Among the national newspapers, The Wall Street Journal also reported a decline in circulation, while USA Today said it had an increase, because of bulk sales.

4.   And across the country, after years of increasing attendance, half of all zoos and aquariums reported a decline in attendance last year.

5.   And other banks that depend on trading for much of their revenue could also report similar declines.

6.   And similar declines have been reported nationally.

7.   Argentine stocks dropped as several companies reported profit declines during the past quarter.
