1.   Bahamas Supreme Court Justice Joseph Strachen began considering this week whether to quash the report because of an appeal by several of the people accused of receiving the bribes.

2.   Defense Department officials said they were revealing the information to quash false reports in the South Korean press suggesting that U.S. war prisoners were alive in North Korea.
