1.   Some of the no-show gun owners were making a protest, and at least one provincial government has challenged the law.

2.   We drove up to the provincial government building in Xiangzhou, a few miles to the north.

3.   The provincial government introduced a number of preventive measures, including extending the scope for blood-serum tests to identify people infected with HIV.

4.   A reform of provincial government banking was also announced.

5.   The gesture followed months of escalating political violence in Sind during which the PPP had claimed that the provincial government had launched a political vendetta against its members.
