1. A jet stream disturbance will pass over Texas, producing patches of clouds and a few showers. 2. A moist flow from the Gulf of Mexico will combine with a weak disturbance to produce a patch of clouds and thundershowers in eastern Texas. 3. A moisture-starved disturbance will produce patches of clouds and a few flurries near the central Mississippi Valley and northern Ohio Valley. 4. A return flow of humid air into northern Texas and Oklahoma will produce patches of clouds and isolated thundershowers. 5. A surge of Arctic air into the Midwest will produce patches of snow from Wisconsin and Michigan into northern Ohio and western parts of New York and Pennsylvania. 6. A weak cool front will push into the Northeast, producing patches of clouds and showers. 7. A weak front and a jet stream disturbance will interact along the Northeast Coast, producing patches of clouds and scattered showers. 8. Farther south, breezes from the east will direct moist air up the gently sloping terrain of West Texas, producing patches of showers and low clouds. 9. Gentle onshore breezes will add enough moisture to the cool morning air to produce large patches of fog in the central and southern Appalachians. 10. Otherwise, a series of rather weak disturbances will produce patches of clouds and showers near the front. |
