5.   Drier air and ample sunshine will prevail near the Great Lakes and interior Northeast as high pressure builds toward southern Ontario.

6.   Elsewhere, seasonably dry weather will prevail near the Pacific Coast.

7.   Farther south, partly cloudy conditions will prevail near the Southeast coast.

8.   Meanwhile, partly sunny and warm conditions will prevail near the Gulf of Mexico coast.

9.   Meanwhile, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will develop across the interior Southeast, while partly cloudy and warm conditions prevail near the western Gulf Coast.
