Because of how this gasoline is made, refineries produce less of it than they do of conventional gasoline. 4. Because gasoline is made from oil, its price also should drop. 5. But talks on that go on and on, and now refiners are hustling for crude to make gasoline for the U.S. summer season. 6. Crude oil futures rose as refiners moved to restock lean U.S. inventories to have more raw material for making gasoline to meet peak summer demand. 7. Crude oil futures rose to the highest in almost six-months as soaring profits from making gasoline and heating oil boosted refinery demand. 8. Even if a refinery can make gasoline for a boutique market, finding space for an unscheduled shipment on a product pipeline is problematic. 9. No refineries are expected to be closed or spun off since all have been expensively upgraded to make reformulated gasolines and to increase capacity. 10. Oil refiners will have to make cleaner gasoline, too. |
