1.   Early Wednesday, Palestinian policemen returned to the area briefly held by Israeli troops, inspecting the ruins of one of six police positions razed by bulldozers.

2.   Hundreds of people inspected the ruins Tuesday.

3.   The former minister, flanked by plainclothes French security men, inspected the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter.

4.   They had hoped to destroy the building Saturday but the attorney for bombing suspect Timothy McVeigh sought a delay because he wants to inspect the ruins.
