1.   The inmates in there get three good meals a day.

2.   Although the inmates will soon get more toilets, there will be no other comforts.

3.   And male inmates nearly got to women prisoners, as well as detention officers.

4.   Before the new law, inmates frequently got a variety of federal payments, including those reserved for the aged, blind or disabled.

5.   A deal was made that the inmates would get to speak with the community activists.

6.   About the same time, Gov. Rick Perry announced he would support legislation to set standards for court-appointed lawyers and allow qualified inmates to get DNA tests.

7.   But I have seen guards trade drugs for money in prison, and have known inmates to get drunk on death row in midafternoon.

8.   Each inmate gets four hours a week.

9.   If the sentence is nullified, the inmate probably will get a life sentence instead.

10.   Inmates cannot get fresh air or water unless the guards give it to them.
