1.   Early bandboxes were made by individual craftsmen and women, as well as wallpaper manufacturers and hangers, to use up wallpaper remnants.

2.   Products were made from start to finish by an individual craftsman.

3.   Straight pins used to be made by individual craftsmen who could produce only so many pins per day.

4.   There are certainly other luxuries that individual craftsmen can enjoy that are not available to a production workshop.

5.   Yet, the individual craftsmen have a grudging admiration for those who are able to make more than one piece of furniture at a time.
