1. Far beneath the waters of the North Atlantic lies the wreck of the great liner, the Titanic. 2. The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loss of life. 3. Small boats loaded with wares sped to the great liner as she was entering the harbour. 4. As I dial I become aware of the emptiness of the building beneath me, like a great abandoned liner. 5. Also included are some great acidic liner notes by our often grumpy hero. 6. It will also be a lot more comfortable and certainly not as stuffy or formal as on the Titanic or even on the great liners that followed it. 8. The great liners, once a transportation necessity, are now designed for middle-class vacationers who use the ships as their hotels. 9. The great liner goes whooshing through the water, and our spirits go with it. 10. They captured the last of the great liners and tall ships that once plied the oceans, and the exhibition includes a selection of these prints. |
