1.   Except for a lame and swollen front hoof, the bull appeared fine, if dazed by all the commotion.

2.   Another threat was expected to come from Touch Gold, who galloped after receiving a new patch on his cracked left front hoof.

3.   He came out of the race with an injury to the inside of his left front hoof.

4.   He ran Saturday with an acrylic patch on the left front hoof he cracked in that race.

5.   He suffered a cracked left front hoof when finishing fourth in the Preakness, and raced in the Belmont with a fiberglass patch covering the crack.

6.   He raced in the Derby with protective egg-shaped shoes on his front hooves and finished fifth.

7.   He stumbled at the start of the Preakness, cut his left front hoof and then overcame one obstacle after another to finish a close fourth.

8.   He stumbled at the start and, when the horseshoe from his left rear hoof cut into the back of the front hoof, it caused a small crack.

9.   His feet were cleaned and a fiberglass patch on the old crack in his right front hoof was replaced with a light acrylic patch.

10.   His left rear foot clipped the back portion of his left front hoof and left a crack in the hoof wall.
