1. A large area of showers will linger in southern Texas as a front continues slowly pushing south. 2. A stalled front will continue to produce clouds and a few showers in southern Florida, but the heaviest rain will shift offshore. 3. On Thursday, clusters of showers and thunderstorms will be concentrated across the southern Great Lakes region as the front continues to move slowly north. 4. As this front continues to dissipate, more blue sky and fewer clouds are expected. 5. The clouds and showers will diminish as the front continues southward. 6. The clouds and showers will then spread across the U.S. Virgin Islands Sunday night and Monday as the front continues its eastward movement through the islands. 7. The diplomatic front continued with U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke briefing NATO officials Saturday on his Balkan peace talks. 8. The new work concludes that the Larsen B section is stable for now but that if its ice front continues to retreat the section will break up. 9. This front will continue a slow and gradual southward motion throughout the day to bring increasing cloudiness with scattered to numerous showers. |
