1.   Patches of high clouds continued to pass across the forecast area this morning.

2.   An upper level trough which affected the islands yesterday is now well east of the forecast area.

3.   It was partly sunny across a large part of the forecast area this morning and there was no precipitation reported except near St. Croix.

4.   Morning satellite imagery and radar observations indicated only scattered clouds across the forecast area with no rain detected.

5.   No rainfall was observed anywhere over the forecast area.

6.   No rain fell anywhere in the forecast area.

7.   The combination of these systems was generating active weather with locally heavy rainfall across the entire forecast area.
