1. Put each half flat side down and cut crosswise into half-moon slices the same thickness as the onion slices. 2. Lift the fish and carefully place it on a large board, flat side uppermost. 3. The cupola and pendentives descend to the great flat sides, pierced by semi-circular headed windows and the arcades below. 4. Carefully lift the cake into a vertical position and secure flat side down on the cake drum with royal icing. 5. As are the petroglyphs, dozens of them, clustered on flat sides of boulders above a dry stream bed at the mouth of the canyon. 6. Arrange cooked pear halves, flat side down, on bottom of baked pie shell. 7. As soon as the tortillas are cooked, push the top flat side of the ear toward the center and pinch the outer edge to make a ridge. 8. Cover bottom of pan with a single layer of cookies, placing flat sides down and fitting together closely. 9. Do not grind or file the flat side because this will create a space between the blades and hamper cutting efficiency. 10. First, tap it with the flat side of a knife to possibly break the bond. |
