1.   All the fish have put on weight, the Pictus especially have grown about half-an-inch.

2.   Although the fish have little external resemblance to each other, skeletally they are quite similar.

3.   Any other fish therefore has to be either large or armour-plated.

6.   Fish have a constant supply of varied foodstuffs, and there is room to avoid aggression.

7.   Fish normally have a high metabolic rate.

8.   In its dorsal and pectoral fins this fish has spines equipped with venom glands.

9.   Many fish have ingenious ways of protecting their eggs from predators.

10.   Marine fish have such beautiful vivid colours and it is a pity not to display these to best advantage.
