Following consolidation, farmers would have irrevocable freehold tenure to their land. 7. In exchange, farmers would have wide latitude to plant almost any crop they wish. 8. In fact, corn farmers probably have as big a stake in sugar quotas as do sugar growers! 9. On the plains the farmers have to deal with frequent floods, but up in the hills their problems are of a different nature. |
