1.   Powell will visit India on Thursday and plans to travel to Afghanistan to discuss rebuilding the war-shattered country with the new interim administration.

2.   Igor Ivanov met with interim Prime Minister Hamid Karzai to discuss rebuilding efforts, and left later in the day.

3.   On Wednesday, a World Bank-European Union working group of finance ministers will sit down in Brussels, Belgium, to discuss rebuilding Kosovo.

4.   An IOC delegation met with the Bosnian Prime Minister Hasan Muratovic on Monday to discuss rebuilding destroyed Olympic arenas in Sarajevo.
