1. A warden can perhaps cope with one or two dementia sufferers. 2. Each source contributed to the attempt to understand what dementia sufferers needed in order to help them stay at home. 3. Geriatric day hospitals, despite having a considerable minority of dementia sufferers have not in general tackled the issue of integration. 4. It is interesting that half the carers said they would like to see the dementia sufferer in residential care. 5. It was also envisaged that they would play an advocacy and educational role on behalf of dementia sufferers throughout their area. 6. There are several reasons for this concern with dementia sufferers and with finding ways of sustaining them at home. 7. There will, in particular, continue to be a large number of dementia sufferers in the geriatric services. 8. Working only with dementia sufferers in their own homes requires special skills, but also is taxing on patience and anxiety provoking. |
