1.   It must be remembered that computers are usually accurate to only six or seven decimal figures.

2.   The computer we are using has a precision of six decimal figures.

3.   The squares of the data values require more than six decimal figures and must therefore be truncated by the computer.

4.   The Associated Press, the primary provider of U.S. newspaper stock tables, has provided decimal figures for all stocks since August.

5.   Portugal, like several other euro-zone states, did not have to deal with decimal figures when using their national currency.

6.   Some countries have also had to get used to decimal figures and lots of small coins, as in Italy.
