Nearly the same number acknowledged using office equipment to shop on the Internet and copying company software for home use. 6. Much of the rest involved employees copying software and taking it home. 7. People think nobody will know if they copied software and nobody would catch you and what would they do to you if they did catch you? 8. Pirates have sometimes copied the software, changed a few lines of code then renamed and resold the typeface. 9. Programs to copy such software were widely available, so copy protection was not very effective in dealing with piracy. 10. The shops that copy software have become increasingly sophisticated. |
