1.   Redwood said Major should have taken a tougher line against the European Union, and Redwood said he would have threatened to pull out of the common fisheries policy.

2.   But the two sides remain at loggerheads over access to a common fisheries area.

3.   But it is not fully integrated into the single market and is excluded from common fisheries and agriculture policies.

4.   They have also called for the Conservative Party to include a clause in its election manifesto which would remove Britain from the common fisheries policy.
