1.   The glory of the interior are the carved wood choir stalls.

2.   Its members stand in shadowy choir stalls at the back of the stage, only their heads visible.

3.   Other items -- ancient ceilings, doorways, choir stalls and individual artworks of every type -- he voraciously sought out and secured through art dealers.

4.   Recently, it built a sound booth in the former organ loft and created a choir stall that extends into the niche where the ark once stood.

5.   The choir stalls are so intricately and delicately carved that they resemble lace.

6.   The choir stalls, in the oldest part of the church, are ornately carved in wood and each bears the emblem of the Garter knight who sat there.
